Rob SawyerOf course a literary convention like Worldcon attracts writers. That's what it's meant to do. George R.R. Martin is the writer guest of honor. Spider Robinson is the toastmaster. Hundreds of other writers will be there. (Connie Willis, Cory Doctorow, David Brin, Guy Gavriel Kay, Elizabeth Moon, Nalo Hopkinson, Tanya Huff, Terry Pratchett... then again, this is the same list which includes Isaac Asimov, so I'll take the whole thing with a grain of salt.) Rob Sawyer will have a book launch party for Hybrids. (See? I mentioned it. His PR efforts work.)

I'll be signing in TORONTO at Chapters Festival Hall, 126 John Street, Toronto ON (corner of Richmond/John) 416.595.7349 Saturday August 30th at 1 pm
Hurrah for Felicia Quon from Harpercollins Canada who organised it...
