la_monday and to aliciam! This week is just full of birthdays. Saturday will be the birthday of two Toronto friends, Rachel and Anthony, as well as my half-birthday *, and Robbie Burns day. And I know of at least 3 more people with birthdays the week after this. You'd never guess from this list that I am, as a rule, abysmal at keeping track of peoples' birthdays.
* Yes, I know, most people don't celebrate half-birthdays. But I've kept track of mine ever since the year my sister gave me a pot of African violets for my half-birthday.
